Arctic Circle Expedition
In March 2007 Drive The Globe completed a 4800 mile journey to the farthest drivable point North in the world.
The Dempster Highway is one of the most challenging drives in the world. Temperatures regularly dip to negative 30 below. We face a mechanical issue at the Arctic Circle & a vehicle recovery in the Northwest Territory in this throw back video from our Arctic Expedition in Winter 2007.
Driving across the Arctic Ocean in the dead of winter. On March 8, 2007 we departed from Edmonton Alberta Canada and headed North.

The 101 breaks down at the Arctic Circle line! We limp it back 20 miles to Eagle Plains. Crossing the Arctic Circle has to wait another day.
